About the Role
Pause the Mess is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to provide weekly cleaning services for both residential homes and commercial spaces. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming environments.
Responsibilities
The role includes weekly cleaning and organization of both residential and commercial spaces. Key responsibilities cover:
General areas: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, emptying bins, and tidying/organizing spaces.
Kitchens/breakrooms: wiping counters and cabinets, cleaning sinks and appliance exteriors, degreasing stove tops, handling spills, and managing garbage/recycling.
Bathrooms: disinfecting toilets, sinks, and showers/tubs; cleaning mirrors and fixtures; wiping surfaces; replacing towels; and floor care.
Overall, the position ensures that all areas are clean, sanitized, and well-organized, maintaining a professional, welcoming environment.
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Must pass a clean background check
Must be a non-smoker
Must be comfortable working around pets (cats, dogs, etc.)
Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle

Detail-oriented with high cleaning standards
A self-starter who works well independently
Reliable and punctual, with strong time management skills
Trustworthy and respectful of client spaces
Able to follow directions while also taking initiative
Friendly, approachable, and professional with clients
Schedule & Pay
Weekly cleaning (residential and commercial clients)
Flexible schedule; hours may vary based on client needs
Compensation: Starting at $20 per hour with increases for experience and work ethic
